Jangri Recipe | Mini Jangri | How to make Jangri | Diwali Special Recipe
I never thought that I would make Jangri at home and the blogging journey is pushing me out of my comfort zone to explore more recipes. Last year I made Boondhi Ladoo and Tirunelveli Halwa, and I was jumping in joy when I achieved the perfect outcome. This year I was planning for Jangri and I tried it this Friday. It tasted so yummy; however, I was not satisfied with the shape and size. I made a big hole in the piping bag and the Jangri was very big than I expected. Also, I was struggling to take a decent photo and the output was not up to my satisfaction. So, today I made it again and I am really happy about the result. Coconut Ladoo Recipe | Coconut Ladoo with Condensed Milk | Diwali Special Recipe
If you are looking for some simple and easy sweet recipe for this Diwali, then this ladoo is a perfect choice. You can make it in bulk as it is not time-consuming. For the mentioned quantity in the recipe, it just took me 15 mins to make and I got around 16 ladoos. Even the beginner in cooking will not fail with this recipe as it does not involve any consistency checking. Yesterday, after sending Happy to school, I made this ladoo and clicked it. When Jany came for lunch, I gave him one ladoo and he liked it very much. He took the remaining ladoos to his office friends and they too loved it. Agra Petha Recipe | Ash Gourd Candy | Kumbalanga Sweet | Diwali Special Recipe
The exciting part of being a food blogger is to learn new recipes based on upcoming festivals. This year too I have planned new recipes and already started trying some, which I will be posting in the coming days. Today's recipe is from the drafts that I tried during the last Diwali and missed to post it here. I am very much fond of this sweet during my childhood and we call it Kumbalanga (Ash gourd) Sweet. We buy this from Tirunelveli Arasan Bakery or Nagercoil Agarwal sweets. Once, my mama tried this Agra petha and shared a photo on WhatsApp, I was super tempted to try that immediately. However, finding Limestone/Sunnambu in Sydney is really hard and I never thought that I could find. I started looking for it in all the Indian shops around me and luckily I found it in a shop. When I tried the first time, it was a big disaster. I didn't lose hope and again tried it the next day. It came out really well and I am here with the recipe. Most of us love to have potato in any form and I too love making dishes with it. I always make potato roast to go with sambhar rice and at times I pair with other vegetables to enhance the taste. I have already shared Cauliflower masala, Long Beans poriyal and Broccoli stir-fry with Potato. Recently, I came across this podimas recipe from a Bhramin friend of mine and I love it to the core.
