Tricolour fruit custard Recipe | Independence Day Special Recipe

Happy Independence day dear friends and readers. Hope every one of you started to enjoy the long weekend. I was planning for tricolour recipes from last week. Because of lack of time, I made this simple and yet interesting custard recipe. I made this with Kiwi, Banana and orange to bring the tricolour of the Indian flag. You can prepare this custard with any fruits of your choice. Check out the Mixed Fruits Custard too. Here, we go for the recipe:
Ingredients:
Milk - 1 Cup
Vanilla Flavored custard powder - 1.5 tbsp
Sugar - 2 tbsp
Tricolor Fruits - Kiwi, Banana, Orange
Method:
1. Mix the custard powder with 2 tbsp of milk and make the custard paste. Then boil the milk and when it starts boiling, add the sugar in it.
2. When the sugar dissolves, add the custard paste into it and stir well continuously without any lumps. Take care not to burn the bottom. When the custard sauce thickens, switch off the flame. Allow it to cool. It thickens a little more while cooling. Chop the fruits and keep it ready
3. In a tall glass, assemble the fruit custard. The first layer should be kiwi. Then pour some custard and add the banana. On top of it add the remaining custard and then add the chopped oranges.
I am sending it to:

Serve the finger licking custard after chilling it. Kids will love it for sure.
Points to remember:
  • Since I wanted the indian flag colors, I have used these fruits. You can serve any fruits of your choice.
  • To get the tricolor, you can alternatively use green grapes, apple and mango
Warm Regards,
