I am down with cold and fever, hence couldn't try any new recipes yesterday and today. For the last few weeks, I am experimenting new chicken recipes. I got this Chicken Manchurian recipe from my colleague Ridhi and I have tuned it to suit our taste buds. We really liked it and it was very tender and juicy. Let's go to the recipe.
Ingredients:Boneless Chicken - 250 grams
For the sauce:
Onion -1 (Chopped finely)
Capsicum - 1/2(Chopped into equal sized pieces)
Garlic - 5 (Chopped finely)
Tomato Sauce - 1 tsp
Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
Chilli Sauce - 1 tsp
To Marinate:
Corn flour - 2 tsp
Rice Flour - 1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Egg - 1
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt - as required
Method:
1. Cut the boneless chicken into small pieces. Marinate the Chicken with corn flour, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and egg. Leave it aside for 15 to 20 mins.
2. Then in a non stick pan, add little oil and shallow fry the chicken pieces. Fry only for few mins, so that the chicken remains soft and tender. If you overcook, it will turn hard. Remove it from oil and drain it in tissue paper.
3. In the same pan with the remaining oil, add the garlic, onion and capsicum. Saute until the raw smell leaves. Keep the flame in high and add the Soya sauce. Then reduce the flame and add the chilli sauce, tomato sauce.

4. Once the sauces combine well, add the chicken pieces and mix everything together until the sauce coats the chicken pieces.
The juicy and tender chicken is ready to be served with Fried rice and Noodles. I served it with Vegetable Noodles.

- Instead of tomato sauce, you can replace it with tomato puree too.
- Instead of marinating with corn flour and egg, you can dip the chicken pieces in the mixture of corn flour, egg and then fry it.
