Popsicles are always a great treat for kids. Even now I love to have fruit flavored popsicles when compared to icecreams. Whenever I get a chance, I don't skip tasting this yummy popsicles. So this summer when we had a large amount of mangoes at home, I tried it. Jany doesn't prefer popsicles much and it was a real weekend treat for Happy and me. This is a very simple and easy to make recipe which we can prepare it with less effort. Already I have posted Rose Milk Popsicle. Also, I have posted few other mango recipes like Mango Panna cotta and Mango Icecream.
Ingredients:Mango - 1 Big sized(I used Banganapally)
Sugar - 2 or 3 tbsp
Cardamom - 3 pods(Crushed)
Method:
1. Wash the mango and peel the skin. Slice it into bite sized pieces after removing the seed. Take the chopped mango in the blender.
2. Add the sugar and cardamom pods along with the mango in the blender. Blend it to a smooth paste. Add little water to adjust the thickness.
3. Pour 3/4th of the puree into the popsicle mould and close it with the mould lid. If using sticks, seal it with the plastic wraps or aluminium foil. Then pierce the wrap with a knife and insert popsicle stick. Freeze it overnight or freeze it for about 8 to 12 hours.

Take it out of the freezer and place it in a bowl of water to remove the popsicle out of the mould smoothly. You can also show the bottom of the mould in running water and demould it carefully. Serve it immediately.
