Hello everyone!! I always prefer to make cutlets for evening coffee/tea. I have already posted Chicken Cutlets and Mutton Cutlets in the blog. I am planning to post vegetable cutlet for a long time now and it is getting delayed without any specific reason. However, today I am sharing a similar cutlet which can be served as the after-school snack for kids. I have adapted this recipe from Chef Venkatesh Bhatt's show in Vijay TV. Like all other recipes of him, this cutlet really wins our heart. Let's move to the recipe:

After a long time, I am back with another interesting recipe from the show Samayal Samayal. When I was in Chennai, I always try to watch the show on weekends. After moving to Sydney, I was not getting enough time to watch the show. Recently, I watched an episode and noted down all three recipes. I am planning to do a roundup post with all the chutney recipes on my blog and hence thought of posting my last chutney recipe from the drafts. I saw this mango chutney in Chef Venkatesh Bhat's show Samayal Samayal and it attracted me to try it. I made few modifications based on my taste buds and prepared the chutney. Malai Ladoo Recipe | Paneer Ladoo | Chef Venkatesh Bhat Recipes - Recipe #13
This is one of my favourite paneer sweets from Adyar Anandha Bhavan and I never thought about making it at home until I saw Chef Venkatesh Bhat's recipe from the show Samayal Samayal in Vijay Tv. He demonstrated it very well and even the beginner can do it perfectly in the first attempt. I just followed his instructions blindly and the sweet turned out super awesome. Jany liked it very much and Happy doesn't show much interest since it is a milk based dessert. Try my other Paneer desserts like Rasagulla and Rasamalai. I have tried few recipes for Diwali and I am planning to post it starting from Monday. Until then check out my last year's collection of Diwali recipes. Today's post is a famous north Indian kabab recipe and I saw this preparation in Chef Venkatesh Bhat's show Samayal Samayal in Vijay Tv. I was super excited after seeing a full episode featuring varieties of kababs and I wanted to try at least one from that. So, I chose this recipe with readily available ingredients from my pantry and it came out really well. I am planning to try the rest of the recipes from that episode. I have bookmarked many recipes from Vijay Tv's Samayal Samayal show by Chef Venkatesh Bhat. I like all his recipes and I am not getting sufficient time to try many recipes. Today's post is one among them and it is an easy one pot meal. This Biryani has loads of veggies in it to make it a healthy, delicious meal and it goes well with Boondi raita or onion raita. Happy and I love anything made using Semiya. Since Jany doesn't show much interest towards it, I make it once in a while. I have already posted few recipes with semiya, please check that too. Rajma Masala Recipe | Rajma Chawal (Rajma curry with Rice) | Punjabi Rajma Chawal | Chef Venkatesh Bhatt Recipes - Recipe # 10
After a long break, I am posting another recipe of Chef Venkatesh Bhat from Vijay Tv's Samayal Samayal. Today's post is about rajma chawal. It is a famous Punjabi dish, where the gravy is made using rajma (Red Kidney Bean) and it is paired up with Rice (Chawal), hence the name.
Happy likes to visit supermarkets when we go for shopping and it will be a hard time for Jany to manage her. She just roams around all the sections and grabs things which she can reach easily. Once without our knowledge, she grabbed a packet of Rajma and put it in our basket. Jany billed it without knowing and we were back home with a big packet of Rajma. I was just making Sundal with that since I never know anything else using Rajma. Finally, I got this recipe from the show and I tried it the next weekend. We all loved it and I these days I am using Rajma more effectively in my cooking. Let us see the preparation steps:

In my schooldays, I eat only chicken and fish. But mom and dad likes mutton and they force me to eat. Though I am not very interested, I try it for their sake. After marriage, I started exploring more mutton recipes since Jany is very much fond of mutton. Though I make mutton dishes less frequent, I try different recipe each time. When I saw this mutton chukka recipe in Samayal Samayal, it was in my to-do list for a long time. Finally, I tried it a few weeks before coming to Paris. Eid Mubarak to all my friends and their families. Hope everyone is enjoying the lip smacking delicious Ramzan Feast. To celebrate this great day, I am sharing you yummy Mutton Recipe. In Chennai I have Gongura leaves in my backyard. I always wanted to try some recipe with that and when I saw this Gongura Mamsam in Samayal Samayal, I planned it for the next weekend lunch. I was completely occupied for the past two weeks, hence couldn't post anything here. Kadamba vadai is very new to me when I saw this in Samayal samayal. It is a very simple and easy to make recipe which doesn't involve any cutting. We need two hours soaking time before we make this vadai. So plan accordingly.

I usually grind idli dosa batter only on weekends. So when we reach Friday, I will be short of Idli dosa batter. I usually try Saturday morning breakfast something new every week. When I saw this recipe in samayal samayl, I was really attracted and tried it the next week. I didn't expect much about this recipe since I guessed the taste might be similar to aapam. I almost quit watching TV in the past few years. The only program that I watch in my leisure time is Chef Venkatesh Bhat's Samayal Samayal program that is getting telecasted in Vijay TV. I have tried few of his recipes and it turned out excellent. So thought of posting it here for your reference. Yesterday I tried his pongal Gotsu that is very new to me.
