This year I was planning to post the consolidated Onam Sadya recipes a week before the Onam. So that it helps everyone to plan the menu in advance. However, as always I am rushing at the end to post the recipes. I have few more sadya recipes in drafts which should come live as early as possible. At least for the next sadya it will be helpful :).
Today's post is about a simple and refreshing drink made using buttermilk. Mom used to make this for my dad on weekends. Jany too tasted it once and he liked it. From that day onwards whenever we visited hometown, this will be there for him along with lunch. The ginger and the shallots give a nice flavour to the buttermilk. Do give it a try for this Onam.
