Carrot Juice Recipe | Carrot Juice with Ginger & Lemon flavor

Yayy, long weekend!!! I was waiting for this break to try many new diwali recipes. Already I have planned many items and dad purchased almost all the ingredients required for those snacks. Everything should go well as planned :). Today's recipe is a simple and healthy refreshing carrot juice. Whenever I make sandwich for breakfast, I pair it with any fruit juice. So few months back, I tried this carrot juice and to my surprise Jany and Happy liked it. Firstly, I used sugar and nowadays I am preparing it using honey. Here, we go for the recipe:
Ingredients:
Carrot - 2
Lemon - 1 tsp
Ginger - 1/4 inch piece
Sugar or Honey - 1 tbsp(as required)
Water - 1/4 Cup(as required)
Method:
1. Wash and peel the skin of the carrots, roughly chop it into small pieces. Peel the skin of the ginger and chop it. Add the chopped carrot, ginger in a blender along with sugar and water. Blend it well for 5 to 6 mins.
2. Strain the blended juice. Squeeze the lemon and serve it by adding ice cubes. You can add more water, if you prefer to dilute it.

Points to remember:
  • If you don't prefer adding sugar, you can replace it with honey. 
  • Adding ginger is optional. But the mild ginger and lemon flavor gives divine taste to the juice.
